Clicktrades is an online trading brand founded in 2018 and operated by KW Investments Limited. It is a new company that wants to leave its mark on the industry with a personalized offer. The services provided do not resemble with the ones offered by most of the popular brokerage companies, communicating Clicktrades wants to treat CFD trading in a new way. As we’re going to see, this carries both advantages and disadvantages, but overall, we’ve reached the conclusion that the company is one that any trader can use.
There’s a wide coverage of assets, but only a proprietary trading account. There are three types of trading accounts, and only the biggest offers access to the Trading Central. Clients can also get access to a video library with useful resources about trading.
Account Types
In terms of trading accounts, potential clients can choose between Essential, Original and Signature. The first one requires a $1,000 initial deposit and offers access to a dedicated account representative, full video library, daily market research, and support from Monday to Friday.
Clicktrades suggests this is the right choice for newcomers. You can start with an Essential account and if you find the company is the one you’ve been looking for, you could make an upgrade in order to unlock new features. Special trading conditions, access to the Trading Central and one-to-one meetings with account representatives are included.
Trading Platforms
This is another company that chose not to rely on the popular MT4 or MT5 platforms. Instead, access to the markets is ensured via a proprietary web-based platform, designed to allow trading sessions from a wide range of assets, on both desktop and mobile.
Although it comes with a unique pack of features, you won’t be able to use expert advisors or automated software. Still, for beginners may be a good tool, since the user interface is very simple and you’ll easily learn how to operate with it. Another negative point is that at the present time, the Clicktrades platform is only compatible with Android devices. There is no support for iOS users, but most likely, the company will aim to solve that issue.
Trading Instruments
With Clicktrades, clients get access to more than 2,100 trading instruments, ranging from bonds, commodities, forex, indices, shares, and ETFs. For an Essential account, spreads are relatively high, but for Original and Signature account holders things are much better. Clicktrades has a dedicated video library with educational material available only for registered customers. There is also a news section powered by investing.com, as well as an economic calendar to keep you updated with the latest developments.
The most important feature, however, is the Trading Central, which at the present time is only available for Signature account holders. Maybe Clicktrades will make some adjustments and make it available for all customers, like most of the popular brokers already did.
